Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of SwiftCram. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to everything set out below. Please read it carefully — it explains what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
Agreement to these terms
By registering for an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using SwiftCram (the “Service”), you enter into a binding agreement with SwiftCram (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.
If you are under the age of 16, you may only use SwiftCram with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Verify your email address before accessing the workspace.
- Keep your password private and never share account access with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
Accounts are personal. A single subscription may not be shared across multiple people, classes, or institutions.
Acceptable use
SwiftCram is built for personal study and homework assistance. You agree not to:
- Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure.
- Probe for or exploit security vulnerabilities, or bypass usage limits and paywalls.
- Upload malicious software, or content that is unlawful, hateful, or infringing.
- Scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute AI-generated output as your own product.
- Use automated tooling to generate content at a volume inconsistent with personal study.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with or without prior notice where the breach is severe or ongoing.
Your content and materials
You retain full ownership of every note, PDF, image, and question you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that material solely to generate your study decks, quizzes, explanations, and mentor responses.
You confirm that you have the right to upload the material you submit, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's copyright or confidentiality. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share, including exam papers under embargo.
Uploads are never used to train third-party AI models. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how, where, and for how long your material is processed and stored.
Academic integrity
SwiftCram is a study aid, not a substitute for your own work. You are solely responsible for complying with the academic rules of your school, university, or examining body.
Submitting AI-generated output as your own original work may constitute academic misconduct at your institution. We do not accept responsibility for any penalty, sanction, or grade resulting from how you choose to use the Service.
Subscriptions, trials and billing
Premium features require a paid subscription. All payments are processed by Stripe; SwiftCram never stores or has direct access to your card details.
- Free trial. New subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on your plan.
- Fair use. Plan limits (such as the Basic tier's monthly AI Mentor message cap) are described at checkout and in your settings.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & Subscription → Manage Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged. As an EU-based consumer you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services, which you waive to the extent the service has already been fully performed at your explicit request.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SwiftCram available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages, and upstream AI provider incidents can all affect availability.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a material change to these terms, we will notify you by email or in-app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that point means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of liability
SwiftCram is an AI-powered educational tool. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated lessons, flashcards, quizzes, and homework solutions may contain factual errors. Always verify important material against your own sources.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for computational mistakes, factual inaccuracies, lost study time, missed deadlines, or grades received while using our tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deleting your account permanently removes your study decks, quiz history, and saved homework solutions, and cancels any active subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or where required to do so by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the applicable law of the European Union. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
We would always rather resolve things directly — please contact us first and we will work with you in good faith.
